After attending a powwow where one of the booths had authentic Southwest Kachinas (made by Native American people---and made with real leather, wood and other natural materials, not plastic like used in copycat imports)---the artist did a series of 3 pastels---A vision of what the Kachina dolls would look like brought to Life
