I have always admired the brave spirit of hummingbirds, and am charmed by their friendliness and beauty. This is a fanciful adaptation in blues. A good way to get to know hummingbirds is to plant flowers. Although hummers are known to be attracted to red flowers, quince and trumpet vine etc. the Autumn olive, which has white flowers, and morning glories of various hues are also favorites. Hummers built nests in quince bushes, the thorns protecting their thimble sized diminutive nest.in the protective branches of thorn bushes.
