Wallenberg was a Swedish diplomat who helped save Jews during the Holocaust. At the end of WW2 he was imprisoned and sent to a Communist Labor Camp where he died, presumably of a heart attack.
He is honored by Israel as one of the true heroes of that era, whose courage saved many lives.
"If we must avoid defeat, we must wish to know the truth and be courageous enough to act on it. If we get to know the truth and have the courage, we need not despair."
