When my children were young, while on a bike hike, we came upon two eagles atop a rock pile on a dirt road. Seeing those majestic birds at close range was an experience words can't describe. Later that year, in the autumn, there were "fish kills" in the surrounding lakes, which was in reality, chemical dumping. After that, we saw no more eagles here.
