In the 1990's the artist painted many hummingbirds and other birds and animals on rocks, wood, metal and art conk fungi. These were popular at arts and crafts shows that she and her children did as a family business.
Today, the artist only does a few art shows a year, preferring to spend more time in her studio doing more paintings on canvas and larger works.
